A Movie review on “A Moment To Remember”
“A Moment To Remember” is a Korean movie which shows true and unconditional love. It displays heavy drama, comedy and a bit of family relationship which also displays parents’ love to their siblings. In this movie also displays Korean way of living. The climax lies on the situation where the lady will be suffering Alzheimer’s disease.
The movie is good to watch especially this coming Valentines Day as it displays how love should be shared to the person you love. For sure, your love for each other will be bonded again because of the sacrifices and twists which make this Korean movie one of the best Korean love affair movies.
The movie started on an incident when the guy named Chul Soo and the lady named Su Jin met in a convenient store. Su Jin bought a soft drink but forget to grab it when she left. Chul Soo and bought the same soft drink. Su Jin returned and assumed that Chul Soo got the drink she had bought. This is their first encounter and afterward followed by other acquaintances despite their their social difference. Su Jin is a daughter of a rich family while Chul Soo came from a broken family and currently working in a construction site where Su Jin’s father is one of the big bosses.
The next chapter is when Chul Soo and Sujin are preparing for their married life. This also starts Su Jin’s Alzheimer’s disease manifestation. Chul Soo had learned the situation and prepared himself on the possible situations that may arise in which it was displayed how deep is his love for Su Jin. Highlighted in this part is the way both parties respond to Alzheimer’s disease.
The last part of the movie are the effect the Alzheimer’s disease inflected to the couples. The grief both parties experience, the sacrifices and all the things that come as a result of the disease were given emphasis.
This Korean movie, though sad, yet it is full of inspiring situation where you can show deep affection to your love one. As mentioned above, your love should not only be cherished and remembered, but it should be done in way you will not expect any in return. This movie is 100% a love story showing unconditional love.
This movie was launched during 2004 in South Korea and I have watched only yesterday. Check it out, i am sure you and your partner or love one will enjoy watching this movie too.

“Saving Private Ryan” movie is one good movie of war and love. War because of the introduction of the movie that it was almost the same with the “Longest Day” war movie. Sometimes war movies are good to be watched especially if you want to develop brotherhood and comrades among your peers.
